Mechanic Resurrection

Starring Jason Statham, Jessica Alba, Tommy Lee Jones

Jason Statham is.. . an assassin.  Jessica Alba is... a beautiful woman.  Boy meet Girl, but Girl is kidnapped and Boy is forces to do what he does.  Kill 3 people and make it look like an accident.  Chapter 1 and 2 go as you might expect and then Boy meets Person # 3, Tommy Lee Jones.

As the description goes, its an orderly, if predictable story.

Tommy Boy (1995)

Another one that never gets old - Fat Guy in a Little Coat.  One of the earlier Lorne Michaels, Saturday Night Live movies, in the vein of Wayne's World meets Gung Ho, about a adult child who must step into the shoes of his father to run a company in a dying industry in Steel Town America.

Dirty Grandpa

Robert De Niro reprises the familiar character from Meet the Parents as the irascible older man to the younger Zac Efron, who plays his grandson - a corporate lawyer.  "I do securities registration, LLC agreement..." is a good running joke.  When Grandma dies, Grandpa wants to do one thing he said he has not done in 15 years, so he tricks his grandson into driving him to Daytona Beach.

The movie winds up as a Tommy Boy road trip between 2 misfits, one determined to get laid, the other determined to stop him from the same thing.

A good supporting cast makes it watchable:   Julianne Hough, Aubrey Plaza.  It'd probably better a better movie with more of those 2  in it.

Otherwise, a light Spring Break type of movie.
